Talks, workshops and courses
From a 10-minute Pecha Kucha to a full university program. Jussi has taught games at vocational colleges, universities of applied sciences and universities, and has designed 85 ECTS worth of university courses. Featured talk
History of All Games
5,500 years of games, from the Stone Age to the Space Age.
Jussi's favourite topic. He has run History of All Games as a course since the Oulu Game Lab years, most recently at Novia University of Applied Sciences in 2026. Available as a 12-hour course, a shorter lecture series or a single talk, for students, film and culture festivals, and anyone curious about where games come from.
The same topic is also becoming a book, linking the games of past centuries to modern phenomena, and a documentary series is being developed with a TV studio.
